UPDATE!! January 20, 2009Mahayla means Strong Woman..good thing huh?! As of this morning she is using 30 % oxy which is good because adults use 22%. She has the blood pressure of a 32 week old baby. She started peeing on her own and her kidneys look great. Amanda and Justin want to Thank everyone for the prayers and she asks you to continue to keep them in your thought and prayers!! January 19, 2009 Mahayla was born 1/18/09, she weighs 1 pound 11 ounces, 11 inches long. Amanda and Mahayla are fine. Mahayla is in Children's Hospital. She has to weigh 5 pounds before she will be able to come home. Amanda and Justin found out that she is now breathing 80% on her own. That's excellent!! She's a tough little girl. They have a long road ahead of them though. Amanda wants to thank you for all the prayers; Little Mahayla really needs them right now. Amanda will be with her tomorrow and Justin is keeping her company. Amanda and Justin got to touch her before she left for Children's and Hayla grabbed their finger. The tip of their finger fits perfectly in the palm of her hand. Please just keep them in your thought and prayers.
