MVPs Pay a Visit to TEAM Ministry

Melinda and I were excited to have the opportunity to meet another MVP Team Member and her family. Reba Smith along with her husband Scooter and sons Nathan and Ashton stopped by on Wednesday December 17 for a brief visit. They were on their way to Branson, Missouri for a family vacation. We are so thankful they took a little time to include us in their family time. It was a wonderful opportunity to make a personal acquaintance with a MVP who has prayed a lot of prayers with and for us.

God Bless this family.

MVPs Pay a Visit to TEAM Ministry

Debbie Bennett, Kathy and Don Davis

TEAM Ministry was blessed by a visit this week from MVP Team Member, Kathy Davis and her husband Don. Kathy and Don live in St. Francisville, Louisiana. Joining Kathy and Don, for the weekend, was Debbie Bennett, Kathy's sister, who is also an MVP Team Member. Debbie was a surprise visit for TEAM Ministry, we didn't know she was coming and what a wonderful surprise.
We enjoyed a time together of fellowship. We talked, we laughed and we cried. We were so blessed by the visit and look forward to another time of getting together. It is wonderful to be around people who love the Lord and are committed to His work.
God Bless these families!

T.E.A.M. Ministry MVPs

Jesus stood in the synagogue and quoted from the Book of Isaiah 61:1. He spoke of His Purpose and Mission. He also spoke of the Purpose and Mission of His Church as it would carry out His work in His absence. These were those words: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” (Luke 4:18-19)

We, as the last Days Church, must feel the urgency to experience what Jesus spoke of and to see others have this scripture fulfilled in their lives. Life deals cruelly with men and women. Sin is a terrible taskmaster! How many do we know who need to hear the Gospel because they are poor in spirit? How many do we know who have experienced broken hearts from experiences in life? Can you think of someone, maybe even yourself, who has been held captive by chains of the past, chains of sin, and chains of addiction? Many are blinded by the cares of life. Many are blinded by injuries of the past. Life’s blows bruise us, stopping the flow of blood that is so necessary for healing to the body and to the spirit.

I believe Jesus was saying that we can experience Apostolic Ministry in our lives. We can preach the Gospel to those who are hungry to hear it. We can pray for those with broken hearts and see them healed. We can preach of the delivering power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and see captives set free. We can pray with those who are spiritually blinded and witness God opening their eyes. We can know the liberating power of the Blood of Jesus as His blood heals those who are bruised. This can be preached and can happen right now.

Much Valued Prayers are committed to seeing this come to pass today. They are committed to taking your needs to God in intercessory prayer. They are committed to praying the prayer of faith, fully expecting God to hear and to answer your prayer. James said it this way, “…pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:16 Make your request known and we will join you in prayer.

God Bless!
